Seven Faces of Jesus

The goal of Godly Play is to show the children how to be open to the Holy Spirit, the Creator, and the Redeemer all at once.  Various stories are told each week.  

During the story of The Seven Faces of Jesus, the children are invited to bring something in the classroom of their own choosing to help tell the part of the story represented on each of the cards. On this Eastertide Sunday, the children brought items representing the boy Jesus at the temple, baptism, Jesus’ temptation in the desert, feeding the 5000, Palm Sunday, the Last Supper, Jesus’ crucifixion, and the resurrection.
